Description

Since the number of infections of COVID-19 in Malaysia dramatically increase, the government then decided to announce Movement Control Order (MCO) to all Malaysians for two weeks. As a consequence to this announcement, most Malaysians experienced panic buying situation. This descriptive data on panic buying situation among consumers during the first stage of MCO A survey was conducted throughout the country including Sabah and Sarawak using an open-ended questionnaire that was distributed online.
