Users' activities on the Internet in the post-COVID period
Description
The online questionnaire survey was conducted using quota sampling (n = 1500). The sample size was set at 1000 respondents in Czechia, which is the usual size for surveys within the Czech population, and 500 respondents in Slovakia, which has half the number of inhabitants. Due to data collection via the Talk Online Panel and using quota sampling [63], the distribution of respondents in the sample is adequate according to the basic demographic characteristics of the population, such as gender and age, and the region. The sample could be considered as representative of the Internet population in both countries. The questionnaire design was based on a literature review. The items of the questionnaire were inspired by a UNESCO working paper, the Eurostat Database and by tools developed to measure ICT literacy. The instrument design meets recommendations by Hair et al. (2021).
