Description

Frequency response data from a high-frequency bandwidth MEMS accelerometer model ADXL 1002, manufactured by Analog Devices, assembled on different bases, and from an IEPE accelerometer model 780C, manufactured by Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies. Each column of the dataset is a calibration according to ISO 16063-21, comparing the sensors back-to-back to a pattern accelerometer model 080A200, internal to the precision air bearing calibration exciter, connected to the accelerometer calibration workstation model 9115D from PCB Piezotronics. The accelerometers were mounted on the exciter surface using different techniques. The calibration data is organized in the file as follows: Frequency (Hz): Exciting frequency, raging from 10 Hz to 10 kHz, increasing logarithmically; Configuration 1: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on steel base mounted with stud, powered by a 3.3 V voltage; Configuration 2: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on steel base mounted with stud, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 3: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on steel base mounted with stud and silicone grease, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 4: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on steel base mounted with adhesive, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 5: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on steel base mounted with magnetic base, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 6: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on aluminum base mounted with stud, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 7: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on aluminum base mounted with stud and silicone grease, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 8: Sensitivity of MEMS accelerometer on aluminum base mounted with adhesive, powered by a 5 V voltage; Configuration 9: Sensitivity of IEPE accelerometer mounted with stud, powered by 21 V and 4 mA; Configuration 10: Sensitivity of IEPE accelerometer mounted with adhesive, powered by 21 V and 4 mA; Configuration 11: Sensitivity of IEPE accelerometer mounted with magnetic base, powered by 21 V and 4 mA; All Sensitivity data is registered in mV/g, where "g" is the acceleration unity equivalent to one gravity, i.e., approximately 9.8 m/s^2.
