Description

The time of the data is all even-numbered years from 2008 to 2016. The data covers 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) in China except Tibet. Mainly include the modern industrial system index, GTFP, GEFF, GTECH, TFP, EFF, TECH of each region. And data on the following variables: Labor, which refers to human capital, is the number of populations with bachelor degree or above in each region. Urban, which refers to the degree of urbanization, is calculated as the proportion of Urban population to permanent resident population in each region at the end of the year. Digital is the number of broadband Internet access ports in each region. Open, on behalf of the level of opening to the outside world, is the total value of imports and exports of each region. Financial is the total amount of de-posits in Financial institutions of each region. Capital, which refers to the per capita capital stock, is measured as the total amount of capital stock of each region except the total population of the province. Facilities, which means the infrastructure construction, is calculated as the highway mileage of each region。In addition, it also includes the instrumental variables used in the research. The calculation method of this variable is the sum of the product of the straight-line distance from each region to the two major ports in China and the throughput.

Import the original data into the stata file, and use the stata software to input commands for regression. The specific commands are in the do file in the attachment
