Description

Data recorded within the ANID (Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo) project "National diagnosis of drought impacts on Chilean beekeeping: a basis for decisión making and adaptation plans to climate change" (FSEQ210033). As part of the project, we conducted an analysis of the different beekeeping public policies promoted by the State of Chile from the late 1960s to 2022. These data are part of the analysis of the current situation. They allow us to identify the main agencies involved and the type of initiatives developed. This database records beekeeping initiatives (programs, projects, others) promoted by Chile's public agencies during the years 2021 and 2022. The information was obtained through requests to the agencies through the Law of Transparency of the Public Function and Access to Information of the State Administration (Law 20.285), and then systematized in this database.
