Two experimental studies (Ns = 363 and 215). We investigated how processing positive and negative information regarding extraversion (Study 1: watching a lecture; Study 2: elaboration one’s own arguments) can affect self-reports on this trait and attitude toward it. The experiments included three waves of measurements with argument manipulation (in favor or against extraversion) immediately prior to Time 2. See "vars description" files for further details on variables contained in the datasets.
