Description
The concept of "побратим" (pobratym) is a linguistic marker of unity, brotherhood, and social consolidation in Ukrainian culture. In the linguistic consciousness of modern Ukrainians, pobratym is associated primarily with the military community, friendship, mutual support, and trust. The concept of pobratym functions as a cultural code that shapes national and moral unity and reflects social values in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The aim of this work is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the associative field of the concept "побратим" (pobratym), its semantic structure, paradigmatic and syntagmatic connections in contemporary Ukrainian linguistic consciousness, and to determine its role as a linguistic marker of unity, brotherhood, and social consolidation in Ukrainian culture in the context of the current war.
