This file contains the analytical results of iodine isotopes (i.e., iodine-129 and iodine-127) and some climatic proxies from loess sections at Xifeng (35.79°N, 107.59°E) and Jingyuan (36.38°N, 104.62°E) on the Chinese Loess Plateau. Data on the concentrations of the iodine isotopes and their atomic ratios as well as the iodine-129 deposition fluxes are provided along with the depth and age for each of the horizons. Climatic proxies for the Jingyuan section include the mean grain size, magnetic susceptibility and loss on ignition at 550ºC (LOI550), and the LOI550 data are included for the Xifeng section.
