Description

The dataset comprises information collected from farmers on multiple dimensions related to pesticide use and safety practices. It includes demographic characteristics (such as age, education, and farming experience) and economic factors (including farm size and income sources). The dataset also captures farmers’ knowledge of pesticide safe use and the extent to which recommended safety practices are adopted. In addition, it contains measures of farmers’ intention to adopt pesticide safe use practices and their self-reported actual behavior. Several behavioral determinants are included, such as attitude towards recommended safe use practices, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and exposure to pesticide-related hazardous events, which may influence both intention and actual adoption of safe practices.
