Description

Cell-free layer measurement in a low shear rate microfluidic device (Part II). The data contained here is a series of images of horse blood resuspended in dextran 500 to induce rouleaux formation. Each folder contains the images for a given pressure drop. The pressure is controlled by hydrostatic head, so the folder labels are given as the volume removed from the outlet water column. The volume converted to pressure drop for each measurement is: 0 uL = 0 Pa 300 uL = 6.77 Pa 400 uL = 9.02 Pa 500 uL = 11.3 Pa 1500 uL = 33.8 Pa This dataset contains only part II of the images, which are 500 and 1500 uL.
