Description

The accompanying data are either reference data or output data from "Major ion geochemistry in Na-Ca-Mg-K-Cl-SO4 brines using portable X-ray fluorescence spectrometry". S1 is the reference data set from external laboratories and was used to create Figure 1. S2 is a mixture of the reference data and calibrated results from the pXRF analyses using the low energy helium method discussed in this study and was used to produce Figure 4. S3 shows the intensity outputs from Bruker AXS ARTAX software and measure gravimetric dilution values then used to calculate diluted concentrations. S3 was used to make Figure 5. S4 includes intensity outputs and concentrations for trace elements and was used to produce Figure 6. Al and Mn intensities were produced used low energy helium scans and Br and Sr intensities were produced using higher energy yellow filter scans. All analyte concentrations are reported in milligrams per liter.
