Prakash PaudelDescription
There is a high chance of dishonest answers when issues being investigated are sensitive (e.g., noncompliance of government rules or illegal work etc.) . A number of approaches have been used to correct such biases by using specialized questioning techniques to ensure anonymity of respondents, which include, among others, three-card technique (Droitcour et al., 2001), item count (Miller, 1984), indirect questioning, nominative and randomized response . These methods assure anonymity of respondents by making it impossible to link data to personal identification.
