Description

This dataset includes the information about the efficacy of the Egokitzen Intervention for divorced families. A quasi-experimental study was carried on with divorced parents who were assigned to an intervention or control group. The outcome variables (i.e. parental symptomatology, children’s symptomatology and parenting styles) were measured at preintervention and post intervention for both groups (i.e. intervention and control groups). Besides, these variables were also assessed at six months and 12 months after the intervention only in the intervention group. Results indicated a reduction of parents’ symptomatology and and an improvement of the parenting styles for the intervention group compared to the control group. These effects were maintained at follow up. The variables included in this data set are: ID = Random unique number to avoid participant identification. Group = Intervention or control group assignment Dropout = Completion or not of the pre and post assigments.
