The background context for this systematic review is image processing in Python through the two more known libraries in literature, OpenCV and Scikit-image.

The datasource (10131) is created by searching in Google Scholar, ACM, SpringerLink for the terms "image processing OpenCV", "image processing Scikit-image", "OpenCV Scikit-image", "OpenCV threshold", "Scikit-image threshold", "OpenCV edge detection", "Scikit-image edge detection", "OpenCV contouring", "Scikit-image contouring". Then it is processed by removing the duplicates and the result is a total of 4865 remaining titles. Then it is filtered by the following terms "OpenCV", "Scikit", "Image processing", and "Python" applied in the title and/or the abstract of the paper.
