Description

The dataset includes the code used to analyze the results of experiments of nest construction by weaver ants (Oecophylla Smaragdina) and the data extracted with these methods that was used in the paper with the same name as the dataset. We include also the scripts used to generate the plots that appear in the paper.

Steps to reproduce

The data is the result of experiments conducted with Australian weaver ants, where the ants were placed in an arena that contained an array of artificial leaves that the ants folded into a nest. The experimental apparatus captured this behavior with 52 cameras with a frequency of 10 seconds. The code given was used on these images to gather some of the data, and the raw time-lapses were used to make some of the observations manually.
