Version 1

Motion Artifact Contaminated Multichannel EEG Dataset

Published:29 April 2024|Version 1|DOI:10.17632/42pphfbcdk.1
Contributor:Sheikh Farhana Binte Ahmed

Description

A volunteer participant's ambulatory EEG signal has been recorded with 14-channel EMOTIV EPOCH EEG Headset while the person was free to move and perform different day to day activities. Total activities were recorded: 1) eye blink, 2) eye brow movement, 3) eye movement, 4) head shaking, 5) head nodding, 6) leg shaking, 7) listening music, 8) relaxed eyes closed, 9) relaxed eyes open, 10) stand up and sit down, 11) talking and 12) walking. Three motion sensors were built-in the device : 1) 3-axis accelerometer, 2) 3-axis gyroscope and 3) 3-axis magnetometer. The data were recorded in Biomedical Instrumentation and Signal Processing Labpratory (BISPL) at Independent University, Bangladesh.

Steps to reproduce

The data was collected using EMOTIV EPOCH 14 channel EEG Headset. Different upper body, lower body and full body day to day movements were performed by volunteer subjects. The raw data was in csv format which was converted to .mat files using MATLAB.
