Description

This repository contains all datasets and scripts associated with the study “Early-season helping yields increasing returns to scale at the onset of eusociality”. It includes: -A re-analysis of data from Brand & Chapuisat (2014) in the context of our findings on the returns of helping behavior. -The R script used to analyze experimental data collected on Polistes gallicus under different helper removal treatments. -A Mathematica notebook implementing the dynamic population genetic model used to explore the evolutionary dynamics of eusociality under varying genetic and demographic scenarios. These materials support the empirical and theoretical findings presented in the manuscript and allow full reproducibility of the analyses and model results.
