Dataset on the effectiveness of project-based learning in enhancing knowledge and perceptions of sustainable development goals among education students
Description
Data was collected from a sample of 202 students from the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education degrees at a Spanish public university. A pre- and post-test was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational intervention using Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology on the following aspects: knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the importance students place on integrating SDGs into the various subjects of their educational curriculum, and students' perceptions of the relevance of applying SDGs in their future professional and personal lives. The results supported the effectiveness of the intervention on the knowledge dimension of the SDGs. All information regarding the theoretical framework, hypotheses, method, results, and discussion has been submitted for publication.
Steps to reproduce
A survey-based study was conducted using a instrument. An invitation was sent in a mass-email that informed about the link to the survey, created in a free software platform. Participants responded online after giving their consent. Full information about the theoretical framework, hypotheses, method, results and discussion has been submitted for publication.

Data was collected from a sample of 199 students from the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education degrees at a Spanish public university.
