Description

These datasets are the results of two surveys conducted in 2024-2025 on 1) a sample of companies from the marine sector operating anywhere in the world (worksheet: seaport_esg_reporting - global) , and 2) the three largest port authorities in Poland (worksheet: Barriers - Polish seaports). The sample for the first survey was selected via the virtual network sampling method (Kozłowski et al., 2021). The data in the global survey pertain to the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting practices and challenges. The data in the Polish survey present the assessments of difficulties in ESG reporting. References: Kozłowski, A., Kaliszewski, A., Dąbrowski, J., & Klimek, H. (2021). Virtual network sampling method using LinkedIn. MethodsX, 8. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mex.2021.101393
