Outputs of the simulations from REPSOL Oil Spill off Central Peru in January 2022: A modeling case study by Mogollón et al., 2023

Published:2 March 2023|Version 3|DOI:10.17632/sxxwj858yd.3
Contributor:Rodrigo Mogollón

Description

This dataset belongs to Mogollón et al., 2023 ("REPSOL Oil Spill off Central Peru in January 2022: A modeling case study") Authors: Rodrigo Mogollón,Cinthia Arellano,Piero Villegas,Dante Espinoza-Morriberón,Jorge Tam. The outputs of the short and long-term lagrangian experiments (E1 and E4) are available. They consist of two NetCDFs files containing all the metadata and variables simulated corresponding to the minimum regret solution (E1_MR.nc and E4_MR.nc). In addition, the custom oil (.json), the coastline (.bna), the wind time-series (.txt), and the forcings (.nc) files are attached. Furthermore, daily and hourly snapshots (.png) of the particles are also provided for E4 and E1, respectively.

Description

This dataset belongs to Mogollón et al., 2023 ("REPSOL Oil Spill off Central Peru in January 2022: A modeling case study") Authors: Rodrigo Mogollón, Cinthia Arellano, Piero Villegas, Dante Espinoza-Morriberón y Jorge Tam. The outputs of the Lagrangian experiment consist of two NetCDF files containing all the metadata and variables simulated corresponding to both, the minimum regret solution (MR.nc) and the best guess estimate (BG.nc). In addition, the oil type (.json), the coastline (.bna), the wind time-series (.txt), the currents, and the wind forcings (.nc) files are attached. Furthermore, hourly snapshots of the particles (.zip), in .png format, are also provided.
