Description

AMIGO2 is a novel transmembrane protein involved in neuronal growth and development, playing a significant role in various cancers. This study systematically analyzed the expression of AMIGO2 in pan-cancer and its correlations with clinical prognosis, immune checkpoints, tumor purity scores, and immune infiltration by integrating databases such as TCGA, GTEx, and cBioPortal. The results showed that AMIGO2 is upregulated in most tumor tissues, and its high expression is associated with poor prognosis in certain cancers. AMIGO2 was significantly correlated with immune regulatory genes, immune checkpoints, and tumor purity scores, suggesting its potential role in the tumor immune microenvironment. Additionally, low AMIGO2 expression was linked to better responses to specific immunotherapies, such as Ipilimumab, Nivolumab, and anti-CTLA4 treatments. This study highlights the potential of AMIGO2 as a prognostic biomarker and immunotherapy target, providing new insights for precision cancer treatment.
