Description

This dataset is for research article 'Curved Fibre Path Optimisation for Improved Shape Adaptive Composite Propeller Blade Design'. This dataset includes 1. Ansys FE structural analysis file for a. Propeller blade model with optimised straight layup b. Propeller blade model with optimised curved layup 2. Cantilever plate experimental data (load vs tip deflections) 3. IGA fem code for the analysis of Hydrofoil and Propeller blade model (written in matlab) For IGA code, i) Open the file in matlab. ii) Add all the files in the pathway. iii) For Wageningen B5-60 analysis, - Run 'Wageningen_data_skew' (Change layup orientations or material properties here) - Run 'IgaFem_Bseris_Fbangle' (both under subfolder 'Propeller analysis' of folder 'IGAmodel_calculation') For hydrofoil model, - Run 'Data_hydrofoil_straight' (Change layup orientations or material properties here) - Run 'IgaFem_hydrofoil_1'
