Coronary Artery Patients' Physical Performance, Metabolic Parameters, Serum Endocan (ESM-1)Levels

Description

In this cross-sectional study, 53 male patients (mean age: 63.4 ± 8.8 years) with severe CAD awaiting coronary artery bypass grafting were enrolled. Serum endocan levels were measured by ELISA and analyzed in relation to metabolic markers (lipid profile, fasting glucose, HbA1c), inflammatory indices (CRP, WBC), body composition (bioelectrical impedance analysis), and physical performance (handgrip strength, 30-second sit-to-stand test).
