Description

Niuzun solidification research data: Niuzun CAD model; figure of Niuzun's 2D mesh; figure of Niuzun's 3D mesh. 1. CAD model data. A CAD model of the Niuzun through detailed observation, 3D scanning, and reverse modeling. PhotoScan® and UG software® were used. 2. 2D mesh and 3D mesh figure. The figures showed Niuzun’s 2D (triangular) and 3D (tetrahedral) elements. A total of 25,000 surface mesh and 154,000 body mesh were generated.

Steps to reproduce

This study obtained a CAD model of the Niuzun through detailed observation, 3D scanning, and reverse modeling. Multiple-angle photos were taken and processed with PhotoScan® to create an orthophoto with the original point cloud data, while excluding non-solidified parts (e.g., lid, chaplets, accessories). UG software® then refined irregularities and optimized geometric parameters (angles, non-smooth surfaces, ornamentation) to produce a fine mesh suitable for CAD simulation. Finally, the 3D model was discretized into triangular and tetrahedral elements for precise calculation of physical field changes. A total of 25,000 surface mesh and 154,000 body mesh were generated.
