This data set is the data processed to observe the impact of Role-Playing is a teaching-learning strategy, which allows the development of speaking skills in a foreign language, in addition to stimulating creativity and increasing motivation in communicative situations, which students must face. The objective was to systematize the scientific evidence on role playing research, using the PRISMA Flowchart. The Scopus, Dimensions and Eric databases were analyzed. Through the systematization, 346 articles were obtained, but 07 articles were analyzed. The results indicate that the investigations generate great impact significantly value the emphasis on the development of communicative competence.
