The unique pathological manifestation was presented in all APSEs patients but could hardly be found in ESEs patients. Besides CD11b+ and CD68+ cells, there were more CD4+ T-cells infiltrate in the dermis of APSEs than in ESEs. IL-1β and IFN-γ were specifically expressed in the upper third of the epidermis, juxtaposition to the loci of the necrotic keratinocytes.
