Description

This dataset is the research data of a submitted article. It includes the Matlab codes that computes the flexural vibration of thin plates with any kind of boundary conditions using the Wave Based Method. It also provides the numerical results (in the "Data" folder) for the cases presented in the article, including the WBM results obtained from the MATLAB codes and the FEM reference results obtained from ANSYS. The FEM results are directly listed in the excels for the displacements of the two selected points on the plate, while the WBM results are the contribution factors saved in the MATLAB work space (*.mat), with which one can obtain the displacement at any point of the plate by postprocessing. The postprocessing codes are also provided. More details about the considered plate problem can be found in the corresponding article.
