The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research design to examine the relationship between faith and superstition during Holy Week in Filipino religious practices. Data were gathered through secondary research and document analysis focusing on published literature, historical accounts, cultural studies, and institutional reports related to Filipino spirituality, superstition, and Holy Week traditions. Relevant materials were collected from books, academic journals, online databases, and official institutions such as the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). The researcher selected sources based on their relevance, credibility, and connection to Filipino religious practices, cultural beliefs, and Semana Santa traditions. The primary method used in the study was thematic document analysis. The researcher utilized note-taking guides, literature review matrices, and thematic coding procedures to organize and interpret the gathered information. Data collection involved identifying key themes such as Holy Week rituals, Visita Iglesia, Salubong, superstitious beliefs, prayer practices, cultural traditions, and socio-cultural influences. The workflow of the study included literature identification, source validation, data organization, thematic categorization, analysis of recurring patterns, interpretation of findings, and synthesis of conclusions and recommendations. All references and supporting literature were properly cited using APA 7th edition format to ensure academic integrity and reproducibility of the research process.
