Description

In order to investigate the bond strength between FRP bars and seawater sea sand concrete (SWSSC) effectively, 292 experimental data acquired from pullout tests were collected from relevant research papers. It should be mentioned that for the scope of dataset, the failure mode of pullout tests is pullout failure excluding concrete splitting failure. The 13 input parameters (Concrete compressive strength, Cement-to-binder ratio, Seawater-to-binder ratio, Sea-sand-to-binder ratio, Coarse-aggregate-to-binder ratio, Maximum particle size of CA, Bar diameter, Rib-spacing-to-diameter ratio, Rib-height-to-diameter ratio, Bar surface treatment, Bonded-length-to-diameter ratio, Bar fiber type, Bar tensile elastic modulus) were selected to study the effects of mechanical property and composition of SWSSC, along with the mechanical, geometric, and surface properties of FRP bar on bond strength. The developed dataset can serve as an effective resource for investigating the bond strength between FRP bars and SWSSC.
