Description

We hypothesized that we could decrease the number of oxycodone prescribed after outpatient gynecologic laparoscopy without comprising pain control or leading to an increased need for urgent visits or patient phone calls. We found that patients who were prescribed 5 or 10 tablets of oxycodone used low quantity of tablets.
