Shell flux, shell size, calcification density and shell CaCO3 MAR data of all planktonic foraminiferal specises at Site U1486 in the western tropcial Pacific since ~46ka. The foraminifera species involved include: Globigerinoides ruber, Neogloboquadrina dutertrei, Globigerinita glutinata, Globigerina bulloides, Pulleniatina obliquiloculata, Globigerinella siphonifera, Trilobatus sacculifer, Trilobatus trilobus, Globigerina falconensis, Globorotalia menardii, Globorotalia tumida, Globorotalia ungulata, Globigerinella calida, Globigerina rubescens, Globigerinoides tenellus, Globorotalia crassaformis, Globigerinoides conglobatus, Orbulina universa.
