Description

All of the datasets of the test problems (i.e., small, medium, large and very large-sized benchmark instances) for an integrated stock selection & sizing problem of a carton box manufacturing company can be accessed in the attached file. The datasets mainly involve the product codes, width (WPi), height (HPi) and length (LPi) and weekly demand quantities (DEi) of the carton boxes demanded by the customer firm. Furthermore, the minimum widths (OWi) and lengths (OLi) of the corrugated boards required to produce each carton box with zero-waste manufacturing are also presented. Moreover, minimum unit production cost (OCi) of these carton boxes with zero-waste are also given. Finally, the standard 42 different dimensions for the purchased corrugated boards that are determined heuristically by the company managers are also included in the last sheet of the same excel file.
