Description

A dataset for manuscrip "A Langley-Inspired Cloud Screening Method for Ground-Based Sun Photometers: Quadratic Polynomial Fitting of Raw Electrical Signalssolar" ,which allow to reproduce some results in Fig 3, Fig 4,Fig 15.In addition,a csv to compare this study with AERONET screening algorithem is also provided.

Steps to reproduce

To support independent verification, two subsets of the measurements are publicly available (1) the DTF-8 and POM-02electrical-signal records of all clear-sky calibration days used to construct the baselines; (2) the electrical-signal data of the example days shown in Figs. 3–4 and 15, which allow the baseline fitting, the point-level 3σ screening, and the near-clear-day analysis of Fig. 15 to be reproduced exactly; and (3) the per-day comparison table of the proposed 3σ criterion and the AERONET-style triplet criterion underlying Sect. 6 and Figs. 14–15 (daily_cloud_screening_comparison_3sigma_vs_triplet_400nm.csv), together with a README describing its columns and conventions. The complete multi-year records (DTF-8, 2024–2025; POM-02, June–December 2025) cannot be shared publicly, because the observations were acquired at a restricted high-altitude observing site and are subject to institutional data-sharing restrictions;
