Description

The code Inelastic_calculation.cpp calculates the inelastic mean free path, differential inelastic mean free path and cumulative inelastic probabilities for an electron travelling in a target material. These data represent input data for the calculation of Reflection Electron Energy Loss spectra with Monte Carlo simulation or numerical solution of the Ambartsumian-Chandrasekar equation. The calculation is developed starting from the Ritchie dielectric theory. The code requires information about the target material and the parameters to fit the Energy Loss function. Further information can be found in the READ_ME.txt file.
