Description

The following data contains the raw data used to describe the AlMo0.5NbTa0.5TiZr refractory supealloy, in the as-cast and annealed (1400 °C, 24 h) states using XRD, SEM, TEM and EDX analysis. This data is used for determination of the present phases and their volume fraction, grain size, phase size and chemical composition of the individual phases, for both states. This data is used to compare CALPHAD equilibrium and Scheil calculations. The XRD data is presented in Excel files, and the simulated patterns for identification of the phases are presented in .cel files produced using the PowderCell program. The TEM micrographs are divided in as-cast and annealed, and the mode used for the analysis is in the name of the archive, as well as the conditions used for taken the image. The phase size of each specimen was determine using ImgaeJ and it is presented in Excel files. The SEM micrographs are presented as BSE (Backscattered Electron) images used to determine the grain size and the volume fraction of one of the phases in both states and the EDX data is presented as .docx, .pptx and the EDX maps are presented as raw data.
