Description

Higher Education Institutions in Nigeria have continued to advance in the use of computer based testing (CBT) software for the conduct of their internal examinations. This is due to the successful conduct of 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) nationwide using CBT software by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). It has been widely established that CBT software offers unparalleled advantages compared to the traditional methods of assessment or examination. Consequently, in 2022 the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria introduced the use of CBT software for the conduct of both pre and main professional council examination. Evangel University Akaeze, Ebonyi State is one of the accredited private university where pre-professional council examination was successful conducted using CBT software in January, 2023. Being the first time of its kind, it is important to assess the stakeholders experience on the use of CBT software. This survey dataset contains data on the assessment of stakeholders experience while using CBT software for the pre-professional council exams. Validated questionnaire of 19items was developed using google form and administered to 31 stakeholders immediately after the exam. The survey dataset described demographics, assessment of the features and functions based on efficiency, ease of use, reliability, privacy, usability and intention to use and recommend CBT software for future exam
