Description

In 2021, The global prevalence of genital herpes is 995.28 million, with almost one in every eight people suffering from it. From 1990 to 2021, the global changes in genital herpes ASPR and ASDR tended to be stable, with females suffering from the disease more than males. Countries and regions with higher SDI levels had lower levels of genital herpes ASPR and ASDR. The analysis of health inequality shows that there are still significant differences among different SDI regions.
