Description

This dataset contains raw and processed data from a 99-day culture trial of rabbitfish (Siganus spp.) conducted at the PSU Cabotonan Marine Laboratory Station, Partido, Camarines Sur, Philippines. It includes replicate-level records of growth, survival, feed utilization, and water quality, as well as treatment-level economic indicators (incidence cost, profit/kg, net return, benefit–cost ratio). The dataset provides benchmarks for aquaculture researchers, practitioners, and policymakers evaluating stocking density performance and profitability in tropical aquaculture systems.

Steps to reproduce

Download the dataset files (Excel/CSV) and open the Growth_Survival_Raw, Feed_Utilization_Raw, Economic_Analysis, and Water_Quality sheets. Compute growth and survival indices (Weight Gain, SGR, Survival Rate), feed utilization indices (FCR, PER, CF), and economics (Net Return, BCR) using the provided formulas. Compare results using the Summary sheet, which automatically generates Mean ± SD values and charts. Replication can also be done in R, Python, or Excel using the CSV versions of each sheet.
