Description

Ground beetles (Coleoptera, Carabidae) collected in Finnish Norway spruce forests in South-Central Finland during 1995-2006, to assess ecological effects of clear-cutting, gap cutting, modified clear-cutting (small retention tree groups in cleared area) and unharvested control. Replicated experimental design.
