This database is derived from a 36-months fieldwork study assessing the role of six groups of brown howler monkeys (Alouatta guariba clamitans) as seed dispersers in Atlantic forest fragments in southern Brazil. We used this database to elaborate the following work: " High diversity of dispersed seeds reveals the essential role of a large arboreal frugivore in the regeneration of highly threatened Atlantic forest fragments"
