Unprecedented Open-Ocean Polynya_ocean_Atmosheric_parameter

Description

Daily July–August 2024 values showing absolute mean (ABS) and anomaly (ANOM) fields of sea-ice concentration (SIC) and associated atmospheric and oceanic variables averaged over the Breid Bay polynya box (16–31°E, 65–68°S). Days influenced by atmospheric rivers (ARs) are highlighted in bold. For each variable, the maximum daily anomaly within the polynya box is reported, except for the 10-m meridional wind (V10), for which the minimum anomaly mentioned.
