Effects of short- and long-term high-fat diet on N-glycome of mouse adipocytes and macrophages

Description

C57Bl6 male mice were fed with either low-fat diet or HFD (45% of energy derived from fat) for 1 week (acute) or 15 weeks (chronic). Adipocytes were isolated from epidydimal AT by classical collagenase digestion method. N-glycomes of adipocytes were determined by mass spectrometric analyses (MALDI-TOF- and LC-ESI MS/MS methods) of total cell, enzymatically shaved N-glycans from the cell surface and/or secretory (glyco)proteins collected from short-term cell cultures of primary cells.
