Description

This dataset provides a 30-year panel (1995–2024) for 48 Sub-Saharan African countries, integrating economic, demographic, and institutional indicators. Primary sources include the World Bank (WDI), FAOSTAT, and Global Forest Watch. The data includes interpolated values for infrastructure variables and processed institutional metrics used to evaluate the drivers of both short-term tree loss and long-term forest area dynamics.
