Corporate Agri-food Net Zero dataset
Description
This dataset is a compilation of the net zero commitments by major agri-food corporations globally. The dataset captures information on net zero commitments, target date, sector, location (country), continent, scope (1-3), country net zero policies, science-based target initiative (SBTi) validation and company's annual revenue. This dataset was assembled from the annual reports of these companies using machine learning methods supplemented by manual validation. The dataset shows variations in net zero commitments across sectors, geographies and actors along the food value chain.

Steps to reproduce
Data was assembled from publicly available sustainability and annual reports of these corporations. We used a machine learning approach and manual validation to ensure robustness and consistency.
