This meta-data was created using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Three databases (EBSCOhost, PubMed, and Web of Science) were meticulously searched using keyword combinations. Fifteen papers were retained and screened for subject relevance; data were extracted to assess the efficacy of ICBT for university students with anxiety. The uploaded data file contains the database used for the analyzes (performed based on a random-effects model) and the respective codes. The metafor package in R software was used to analyze the data.
