We share data on the spatial structure of Rostov agglomeration, which is the administrative center of the Southern federal district and is in the top-ten largest cities of Russia.

Steps to reproduce
Rostov agglomeration is analyzed using a set of indicators, including the number of retail and catering facilities; public catering facilities (number of sitting places); the number of dwellings; price of housing (thousand rubles per sq.m); hard surface public roads of local importance (km per sq. km); intraregional migration (people); population per municipality (thousand people); municipality size (sq.km); population density (people per sq.km); urban population share (%). All municipalities of the urban agglomeration of classified by their localization and integrity with the agglomeration core. A map of multiple borders of the Rostov agglomeration is given, drawn based on different research methodologies.
