Description

The Satellite-Image-Acquisition Scheduling Problem (SIASP) is of great importance in the space industry; every day, satellite operators must face the challenge of selecting the optimal subset of images to be taken during the next orbit pass of a satellite with respect to some notion of value from a set of requests made by their clients. This dataset is composed of 20 different instances. These use cases have been selected because of their size, which is adequate for being solved by current Quantum Computers. Thus, 14 of the instances (in data folder) are part of the well-known SPOT5 benchmark [1], while six of them (in generated_data folder) have been created using an instance generator, also provided in this benchmark.
