Description

This dataset allows researchers to conduct optical-based in-body communication experiments in a free-space environment using single-beam Near Infrared (NIR) LED 810 nm 375 mW (maximum). The LED current settings in the dataset have been standardized to maintain consistent optical power levels similar to those used in experiments involving biological tissue. The measurements on the pork meat samples were conducted at LED current levels of 100 mA, 200 mA, 300 mA, 400 mA, and 500 mA. The dataset includes measurements from six pork meat samples with varying thickness and fat/muscle composition and comparable measurements on free space. The file (.xls) contains two sheets: one visualizing the samples ("Sample photograph") and the other presenting the measurements ("Results-pork meat & free space"). The second sheet presents six tables, with different colors used to differentiate between measurements taken from the samples (white) and measurements in free space (yellow).
