Description

This dataset contains the graphs and infographics used in the preparation of the article published in the journal "Entrópico"; an editorial project that is in the care of the School of Architecture and Urbanism of the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña. The data seek to support the author's storyline about the possible referential links that could exist between Dominican vernacular and colonial architecture, and the design of the Eugenio María de Hostos Park. This urban facility was the first major work designed by the architect Guillermo González in the city of Santo Domingo and is part of the set of works executed in the 1930s with which the process of implanting the language of the architecture of the Modern Movement in the Dominican Republic began..
