Description

This is the dataset profile of nontargeted small molecules detected in deer antler velvet (DAV) extracts derived from the antlers of local male Malayan deer (Cervus timorensis), analyzed using Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS). The antlers were collected from local company; D’Paradise Deer Valley and Exotic Farm Sdn. Bhd. Three types of extracts were prepared from the powdered DAV samples: water extract (WE), 70% ethanol extract (70% EE), and absolute ethanol extract (EE). These extracts were analyzed using Liquid Chromatography–Tandem Mass Spectrometry with Quadrupole Time-of-Flight (LC-MS/MS-QTOF), operated in both positive and negative ion modes, to identify the nontargeted compounds. The dataset includes the compounds' name, average mass, m/z values, base peaks, retention times, and many other METLIN database search hit identities.
